Time for Ulovane to adapt like the chameleons we are.

Ulovane will be embarking on a transformative journey at the end of June 2023.

We understand that this news may come as a surprise, but please know that this decision was not taken lightly, we have had to make some difficult decisions, and unfortunately, this is one of them.

Though bidding farewell to our beloved campus brings enormous sadness, we firmly believe that this marks the commencement of an exciting new phase for Ulovane.

We are working diligently and are exploring new ideas, collaborations, and opportunities. We are taking some time, to realign, redefine and restart.

We will not be leaving the Eastern Cape and want to clarify this. We will remain committed to the continued growth and advancement of the Eastern Cape guiding community. This is our home and our family. The Eastern Cape may not have big trees, but we have massive hearts.

As we look to the future, we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. We are not leaving the industry, but instead, we are developing new projects and exploring exciting avenues to make an even bigger contribution to guiding and conservation in South Africa and the entire African continent.

Ulovane’s new journey signifies the dawn of an inspiring and authentic era. We know that whatever lies ahead, we will face it with determination, strength, and courage.

HUGE THANK YOU to the entire Eastern Cape Community, FGASA, all our Ulovane students, and family for their continuous support, encouragement, love, and kindness!!

Let nature take
its course.

Since 2005, Ulovane Environmental Training has been developing and supporting the FGASA guiding industry by providing nature guides who are ethical, committed to conservation, and genuinely want to make a difference.

Schalk and Candice Pretorius, owners of Ulovane and their team, offer a life-changing experience that learners will never forget. Passionate, experienced, and committed, they inspire and motivate learners to become ethical, enthusiastic ambassadors for conservation.

Please watch this space for exciting changes and opportunities coming soon.
